Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to the questions we hear most often. If you cannot find what you are looking for, please reach us through the contact page.
Face reading
- How often can I get a face reading?
- You can get one face reading per day. It resets at midnight in your device's time zone. If you open it again on the same day, you will see the result you already received.
- How long does a reading take?
- Usually about 30 seconds. The combined reading, which adds your horoscope, can take around a minute.
- What does the result include?
- Your overall fortune, early, middle and later-life fortune, notes on the forehead, eyes, nose, mouth and chin, health, your animal face type and tips for improving your luck.
- Why do my results vary slightly?
- Lighting, angle and expression change how your face looks. Photos taken straight on in bright, even light give the most consistent results. See how to take a good photo.
Photos and privacy
- Are my photos stored?
- Photos are used only for the reading and are not stored on our servers. Before your first reading, the app explains that the photo is sent to the OpenAI API for analysis and asks for your consent. See the privacy policy for details.
- Can I use someone else's photo for compatibility?
- Compatibility needs photos of two people. If you use someone else's photo, always tell them and get their consent first.
- How do I delete my account?
- Go to Settings > Delete account in the app. If you cannot use the app, use the account deletion request page.
Daily horoscope
- How is the horoscope calculated?
- We calculate the positions of the Sun and planets at your birth from your birth date, time and city, then compare them with today's sky.
- Do I need to know my birth time?
- No. You can get a horoscope without it, but adding it lets us reflect the Moon and planets more precisely.
- When does the horoscope change?
- It changes once a day. On the same day you will always see the same result, no matter how many times you open it.
Languages and more
- Which languages are supported?
- Korean, English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai. You can change the language in Settings.
- If I change the language, do my results change?
- Results you already received today stay in the language they were created in. New results from the next day appear in your new language.
- Can I rely on the results?
- Results are entertainment and reference content based on traditional face reading and astrology. Please do not use them as medical advice or as the basis for important decisions.
See it on your own face. In the Face Fortune app you can get a face reading from a single photo, then add your birth date to receive today's horoscope as well.
