About Face Fortune
Why we built Face Fortune
In Korea, people casually say someone "has a good face" when they meet for the first time. We built Face Fortune so that anyone, anywhere, can enjoy this part of Korean culture in a light and fun way. Our goal is to give you a moment of self-reflection from a single photo, and something to laugh about with friends.
How we create content
- Grounded in tradition — our readings and guides are based on established face reading concepts such as the three zones, the five peaks and feature-by-feature interpretation, as well as the basic framework of Western astrology.
- Balanced — we do not just list good news. We share strengths together with cautions and directions for growth.
- Never final — face reading and astrology are interpretive traditions about tendencies, not destiny. Every result is clearly labeled as entertainment and reference.
- Not about looks — we never rank faces as attractive or unattractive, and we avoid language that puts down any appearance.
How we handle your data
Photos are used only for the reading and are not stored on our servers. Before your first reading, the app explains that your photo is sent to an external analysis service (OpenAI API) and asks for your consent. You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings. See the privacy policy and terms of service for details.
